The late Dr. the Honorable Hari N. Harilela was a distinguished Hong Kong Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist. He was the Founder and former Chairman of the Harilela Group and was widely respected in the community with an impressive record of public service. He served as a member of the Hong Kong Basic Law Consultative Committee and as an advisor on Hong Kong Affairs to the Government of the People’s Republic of China. As a pioneering and visionary community leader, Dr. Harilela connected cultures of Asia with the rest of the world. His legacy continues to inspire and influence generations of entrepreneurs and philanthropists.
